The Daniel and Florence Guggenheim Foundation will officially close on June 30th, 2011. No applications for funding will be accepted.

Since its founding in 1924, our Board of Directors has had the pleasure of working with many partners, first in the development of aviation/rocketry and, since 1972, in the criminal justice field. We are pleased to announce that although the Foundation will close, our work will go on through The Daniel and Florence Foundation Program on Demography, Technology and Criminal Justice at the Library of Congress and the Oscar S. Straus II Fellows at Princeton University.

We thank the many organizations and volunteers who have been part of our history and wish them much success in the future.
